5-piece Non-stick PotsSet Cookware Set With Glass Lid.

This 5 piece non stick cookware set is heavy-duty diecast aluminium with an interior non-stick ceramic layer and tempered glass lids. Cast aluminium is used here because it spreads heat evenly across the base instead of concentrating it in a hot ring over the burner, which is the single biggest cause of food catching in a thin pan.

Why Choose This 5 piece non stick cookware set

The practical case for buying a 5 piece non stick cookware set as a set rather than piece by piece is that the sizes work together. You get a graduated range that covers a sauce for two through to a stock or a curry for the whole table, the lids fit their own pans, and the bases stack for storage. Buying individually tends to leave you with three pans of nearly the same size and nothing large enough when it matters.

5 piece non stick cookware set: Materials, Sizes and Features

The construction of this 5 piece non stick cookware set is what determines how it cooks. Heavy-gauge cast aluminium gives the thermal mass to hold a steady temperature rather than swinging with every adjustment of the burner, and the interior ceramic non-stick layer means food releases with far less oil than a bare pan needs. The tempered glass lids let you watch what is happening without lifting them and losing the heat and steam you have built up, which matters for rice and anything simmering.

Caring for Your 5 piece non stick cookware set

Caring for a 5 piece non stick cookware set comes down to a few habits. Wash it by hand with a soft cloth or sponge rather than trusting it to a dishwasher every time, because dishwasher detergent is abrasive and dulls a non-stick surface over repeated cycles. Never use steel wool or scouring powder on the interior. If something has caught, soak it in warm water rather than attacking it, and dry the pan properly before stacking so moisture is not trapped between the bases.

Getting the Best From Non-Stick

Non-stick coatings last for years or for months depending almost entirely on how they are treated. Keep this 5 piece non stick cookware set to medium heat rather than full blast, because a dry non-stick pan left on a high burner is what degrades a coating fastest. Use silicone or wooden utensils rather than metal, which scores the surface and gives food somewhere to stick from then on. Let the pan cool before it goes anywhere near cold water, since thermal shock warps a base and a warped base never sits flat on a hob again.
